Complete end scraper of conventional form; made from a secondary, hard hammer struck flake of glossy black flint with some inclusions, steeply retouched at the distal end to form the semi-circular scraping edge, small patch of sandy coloured thin cortex extant to one lateral side, showing the outside curve of the flint nodule this was struck from. A very useful tool in the initial preparation of fresh hides for tanning, effective in removing the subcutaneous fat from just below the surface of the skin. Neolithic, 4,000 to 2,350 BC.

A complete Neolithic endscraper dating to c. 4000-2400 BC. The end scraper is made from a tertiary flake of flint that is a matte light brown sometimes semi-glossy medium brown semi-translucent flint. It is broadly recyangular in plan and trapezoidal in cross section the ventral surface being wider than the dorsal surface. A scraper struck from a dark brown flint, 49mm in length, probably of Neolithic date. The scraper is semi-circular and there is semi-abrupt parallel retouch, most noticeably on one side. The dorsal surface and proximal end retain patches of cortex with no evidence for a prepared striking platform. The surface demonstrates water polish.

A complete flint Scraper of Neolithic date (3450-2100 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in plan and bi-convex in section. The proximal end retains some cortex while the distal edge is curved. All edges with the exception of the proximal end have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is slightly convex with six negative scars and corresponding arises. The lithic retains some cortex and is therefore a secondary flake. The flint is dark/light grey in colour, the cortex is light brown in colour. A complete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 2300 BC. The object is formed from a tertiary flake which is sub-ovate in plan and D-shaped in section. The ventral surface is flat and smooth. Short, stepped, semi-abrupt retouch is present along the curved edge and into each side of the dorsal surface. The flint is a light white colour with grey inclusions. The implement is 28.4mm long, 19.6mm wide, 10.8mm thick and weighs 5.7g. The forward edge has semi-abrupt, direct retouch that creates a curved leading edge. The flint is covered in a creamy patina with light grey patches, 3% cortex on the leading edge.

A sub-tear drop shaped scraper tool dating to the Neolithic period, c. 4000-1500 BC. The tool is made from a secondary struck flake of dark grey-brown flint with some interior mottled light and dark grey cortex. On the ventral face is a large bulb of percussion. The ventral side has large angled flaking with minimal abrupt retouching on some edges. The flint measures 31.6mm long, 26.1mm wide, 9.9mm thick and weighs 5.53 grams.

The flint is light grey coloured. There is a point at one end and a squared base. The dorsal and ventral faces have no retouching with a low bulb of percussion. There is short, scaled, abrupt mesal retouching on the opposite edges on the two faces. The flint measures 29.3mm long, 14.9mm wide, 4.4mm thick and weighs 2 grams.

A grey flint end scraper of possible Neolithic date. The scraper is circular in plan and  ovate in section and has been re-worked with a soft-hammer touch around one long edge. The ventral side has a pronounced bulb of percussion and rippling suggesting hard hammer working, and the dorsal side has been worked all around its edge, also with prominent ripples present.
