An incomplete cast copper alloy possible pendant of unknown date, probably post-medieval to modern. The object is sub-circular in plan, and is topped with a semi-circular suspension loop cast in one with the rest of the pendant. This suspension loop is trapezoidal in section, and is broken so that only the lowest portions remain. An unidentified and undated object made of a crudely cast white metal, likely a lead alloy. It is round in plan with a D-shaped cross-section and very slightly concave reverse. It has a grey patina, although in some narrow areas on the reverse, the patina is worn through to expose a more lustrous light metal. There seems to be a very thin, separately made metal layer fixed at the reverse to the main body of the object. It has coarse filing marks at the edges. On one face there is a small rounded knop projecting. Diameter: 28 mm Weight: 4 g It is uncertain whether this object is a Medieval to Post-Medieval strap junction fitting, likely from a horse harness. An undiagnostic gold fragment of uncertain date. The fragment is sub-rectangular in plan and rectangular in section both sides appear to have been hammered/worked. The short ends both appear to have been cut. No decoration is present on either the obverse or the reverse of the sheet. Length 22.2 mm, width 7.5 mm, thickness 1.2 mm and weight: 2.29 g. This find has since been assessed by a relevant specialist. In their opinion the object is undiagnostic and cannot be securely dated to pre-1720, and therefore it falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.
