A corroded and incomplete post medieval cast copper alloy strap mount with a narrow heart-shaped plate. The pointed terminal is missing, but on the basis of complete examples (i.e. SUR-CBD7A2) likely comprised a small pointed acorn shaped knop. The reverse is flat with two integrally cast attachment rivets.

A complete copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, circa AD 1250 - 1500. The buckle is D-shape in plan and single looped. It has a narrow and off-set axis bar and the outer surface has bevelled edges. The pin is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. A fragment from an ornate rectangular double looped buckle probably dating from c.AD 1350-1700. Only the outer edge of the narrow frame survives. The frame fragment is rectangular in section and has what would have been a long edge that is narrower than the outer edge. This has a long projecting rectangular tab that projects 6.0mm from the frame. A complete copper alloy trade weight, one of a set that would have stacked. It is circular with a raised rim, and the weight would suggest that it is 1/2 ounce. Inside are the stamps of a laver or coffee pot, the inspection mark of the Worshipful Company of Founders, who controlled the lawful making of weights in London and for three miles around (Withers and Withers 2011, page 78). The buckle frame has a vertical axis bar and then a broadly D-shaped frame having a curved outer edge. Fragment of a probable copper alloy Roman plate brooch, inlaid with enamel, dating to the 2nd century AD (100-200AD). The object is oval in plan and slightly convex on the outer face.
