A lead alloy disc that it possibly a hand made toy, or a weight. It is circular and in section has rounded edges. One face has a central depression which extends across half of the face. Around the raised outer are many parallel lines from the edge into the centre. Set to one side of the blank central portion are two shapes which suggest clock hands, they are thin, pointed triangles which overlap near the widest part. A complete copper alloy dress hook The artefact body is broadly circular, with openwork moulding in the form of four circles either side of the central motif. In the base is a V shaped frame and sitting in this is a relief moulded pineapple or pine cone. A copper alloy ingot. It is basically rectangular in shape but with rounded ends and a waisted centre. It is flat on the bottom and domed on the top. The base has a series of vertical lines moulded into it which may be a relic of the moulding process. It has an even brown patina with little corrosion or damage. It is difficult to date this type of object, a wide date range has been allocated but it may be relatively recent in date.  Dimensions: 78mm long, 20mm wide and 12mm deep approximately. A lead alloy spindle whorl or weight. It is flat on both faces, with rounded edges, D shaped in section. There is no apparent decoration. The central perforation is approximately 10mm in diameter. A number of similar examples have been recorded by the Berkshire FLO, one of which is BERK-4D6A2C. These are difficult to date without other evidence, and are considered by some to be Roman when in this form, this artefact is from an area of known Roman activity Dimensions: It is 28mm in diameter and 7mm thick, the central hole is 10mm diameter and it weighs 29.28g

A cooper alloy pommel cap from a sword or knife. It is circular in shape. There is a central flat ring, and from this the two faces are convex. There are circular holes present top and bottom for fixing to the hilt, these might suggest a knife or dagger pommel rather than one for a sword. There is no apparent decoration, and there is some pitting on the surface, although it has an even, dark green patina. It is probably an Oakeshott Type G style. A probable lead alloy spindle whorl. It is bi-conical in shape but rounded. It is worn but discernible on both sides is a pattern of lines and dots. It has a grey patina, the central hole is either slightly mis-moulded with an inset line on both sides or alternatively has the remains of a concretion in it. The patination (or lack of) would suggest a later date although the hole diameter might suggest an early medieval date. Dimensions: It is 23mm in diameter, 10mm deep and the central hole is 8mm diameter and it weighs 23.00g

It is plano-convex in shape with a domed side, rounded edges and a flat base with a central perforation which is off centre.  No decoration is present on either side and it can be classified as Walton Rogers form A1 (Walton Rogers, 1997, p.1731/1738). The whorl has an even light brown patina. A lead alloy weight. It is shaped like an elongated sphere. The neck is long and flat, sub rectangular in shape. In the centre, near the tip is a suspension hole. The base is flat in the centre and would therefore stand. Weights like these are seen in the Roman (for example SUSS-EA2CCC) and Medieval (NLM-5D1F37) periods. The weight of 192g does not accord with the Roman weight system, as 1 semis is equivalent to 164.5g. A sub-square lead alloy gaming piece, token or possible weight. It is rhomboid in shape although it was probably intended to be square. At each corner is an upstanding 'knop' cutting the diagonal of the corner to about a quarter of its length. Running across the face from these are two parallel lines etched into the lead alloy.
