Celtic silver coin of the Corieltauvi, British North Eastern type. The obverse bears a stylised horse, facing left, it has no mane and a long, simple, tail. Above the horse is a ring of pellets. Four further, individual pellets, each set within a raised ring, are placed above the horse's tail, under its belly, in front of its chest and above its head. Beneath the horse is a line of small pellets. On the reverse is the figure of a boar at 6 o'clock, little detail can be seen of this suggesting that it was struck from a very worn die.
