A sherd of 'Trevisker Ware' or Grooved Ware pottery dating from the Neolithic - Middle Bronze Age (c.1600-1200 BC). The sherd is sub-rectangular in form and has been broken into two pieces. The fabric is gabbroic (clay that weathers over the gabbro stone on the Lizard) with inclusions of pale feldspar, dark augite and mica. The object is a sub-rounded shaped pebble of heavily patinated grey coloured stone, probably granitic in nature. A worked ground and polished axehead, of a black hue, of probable Bronze Age date. Found with items possibly of the Bronze Age period, but its dating in relation to these finds could not be verified, as it was an historical find, once part of the Zennor Wayside museum's collections, and so, its exact geospatial provenance is unknown. Possible flint piercer/arrowhead, of prehistoric dates. Due to its shape, and some retouching, it was likely earmarked to be a tool, but discarded pre-usage. The dark colour of the flint, and its workmanship suggest that it is likely of Neolithic origin. The flint is 90% of a white cloudy patina, and 10% of its surfaces showed signs of iron staining. This is a common occurence on the Land's End peninsula, where we regularly find flint scatters, representing extremely long periods of occupation. Flint debitage; as it is not a tool, it is difficult to securely date this object. However, flint from Beer Head in Devon is typically of a dark grey/black hue, much like this flake, and does not seem to have been imported into Cornwall until the Neolithic period. As such, this flint flake, if indeed Beer Flint, is likely to date to the Neolithic to Bronze Age periods. It was found in moderate proximity to Carn Kenidjack; a hill covered in prehistoric megaliths, including Tregeseal Stone Circle.

An incomplete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of Bronze Age date, c.1500-1100 BC.
