The reverse is much flatter however not completely smooth. Most of the object ha a brown patina with black inclusions. It is likely that the object is casting waste. A complete copper alloy bead of unknown period. The bead is sub-spherical or biconvex, measuring 13.6mm in diameter, 10.1mm thick (through the hole) and weighs 7.7g.  The hole is 2.8mm in diameter.  It has a patchy, rough brown - green surface, about half of which is of green corrosion products.  Much of the original surface is missing and so it is impossible to determine visually whether the bead surface carried any decoration.  A similar, but smaller, bead appears at record SWYOR-AA0195.  KENT-EC7838 is also similar.
