A copper-alloy die of uncertain date. The die weighs 10.69g and is a cube measuring 11.0mm x 11.2mm x 11.2mm. This die is non-regular in that the opposing faces do not total seven. Thus, one is opposite three, two is opposite four, and five is opposite six. These numbered sides are marked with concave single dot depressions that have a white to pale grey colour. The content of the dots may be a whiteish pigment used to better show up the number represented. Alternatively, the dots may contain lead or the entire core of the die may be filled with lead that has been left exposed at the …

A dice weighing 44.48g and measuring 35.1mm x 34.9mm x 33.5mm. The precise material of manufacture is uncertain, however its appearance strongly suggests mud or clay and appears to contain small black, shiny, rounded inclusions and fibrous material, possibly straw or chaff. No residue comes off on the hand and this artefact is quite firm and cannot be squashed out of shape, however, a human fingernail can make a slight impression. A few tiny fragments have come loose from the object and can be seen as dark specks in the packaging material. This artefact has a sub-cuboid shape wi…

A lead gaming piece/dice. This artefact is a cube but it is not an accurate cube (the side have different widths and lengths). The faces of the cube appear to be decorated or marked with a type of circle and dot design; similar to a dice, although on three faces there is only a single circle with a dot inside, one face has two and two of the faces are blank. The artefact is complete though very worn. The lead has gone a powdery light greyish-white.
