A piece of worked bone that is sub triangular in shape and, given its flatness, is probably a cow's rib. The bone has been cut at an angle at one end and is broken at the other. The breaks and the cut are worn, especially the point at the end of the cut. This wear is likely to be post depositional. There are also scratch marks across the grain of the bone near the cut end. These may also be post depositional. The cut is probably a result of butchery rather than deliberate shaping. The scratch marks may also be butchery marks. The bone is smooth and dark brown in colour. The colouratio…

An unidentified bone object, 87mm long and 14mm wide. The object is possibly made from an animal rib as it seems to have a natural surface and is slightly tapered. It is decorated with incised lines on each surface and the sides have a line of carved out nothces, possibly to provide a grip. The surface decoration comprises of two incised lines which follow the outside edge. On one side they taper to a point and there is a further 'arrow' shaped incised line. On the opposite side to this the object has a diagonal edge which appears deliberate. The other edge tapers to a thin edge.

A fragment of an antler, incomplete due to old breaks at both ends. It measures 72mm in length and 28mm in width with a thickness of 14mm. This antler fragment does not appear to have been worked and is likely to just be a stray loss, however, it could be a by product of antler working, or have been lost before it was worked. Therefore it is recorded in case any other antler fragments worked or otherwise are found on this site in the future.
