A heavily worn silver short cross cut half penny of Plantagent (Henry II, Richard, John an Henry III) date (AD 1180-1247). The coin was probably folded in half as all the wear is on the obverse face. The coin was struck in London - however, not enouygh survives to suggest either moneyer or ruler. Most short cross coins of this period are struck in the later period during the reign of John and Henry III
