A copper alloy sword pommel of Petersen's Type S. It is comprised of five lobes, a larger central one and two of diminishing sizes set either side of this. There is the remains of the fixing in the top of the pommel and a hole through it. Inside are possible remains of wood and perhaps some of the fixing. According to Leahy and Lewis (2018: 328), this style of pommel is of an English type but is also attributed to Viking use. Parallels include WAW-C104D7, SWYOR-D14F67, all dated to AD 900-1100

A complete probable Early Medieval sword pyramid mount. Although the term 'pyramid' is generally applied to this form of object due to its shape normally being a square pyramid, this example is in the form of a cone. The object is plain and undecorated. It is hollow underneath and at the base there is an integral round sectioned bar running across the centre for attachment to the sword belt. The mount has a mid-green patina.
The mount is 21.2 mm in diameter, 10.7 mm in height, and weighs 6.82 g.
Similar examples are SWYOR-89C624, BUC-725DF3 and LIN-666425.

A complete cast copper alloy early medieval hooked tag dating to c. AD 800 - 1000 and cf. Read's (2008) Class B, type 1. The tag is triangular in shape with two projecting and flanking attachment loops at the rear edge and a sharp hook with an angular collar projecting from the front end. The plate is decorated with concentric compass-inscribed circular ridges around a small annulet centre.

A complete copper-alloy two-part harness pendant, medieval and circa 1300-1500 century in date, consisting of an outer pendant frame and a solid inner pendant.
The outer pendant frame is shaped like a six-petalled flower with a suspension loop set at right angles to the plane of the pendant. The suspension loop is at the terminal of a two parallel rectangular shafts, which projects from the top of the middle of the central petal. The outer pendant measures 46.1mm in length and 28.4mm in width.

This is an incomplete scabbard chape of Early-Medieval date, possibly an end protector for a knife scabbard. It finds parallels in a number of examples recorded through the PAS (e.g. LIN-E5C477, SF-0E88A2, HAMP-1DA880 or WAW-03F886) and is of probable c.11th century AD date.
It depicts a possibly a bear-like creature or man with a straight bar behind and above the figure, the lower part is missing due to old breaks. It is 35.2mm length, 15.8mm width, 2.1mm thickness, 4.34g.

The weight is 'barrel-shaped', and has an uneven aperture throughout its interior. There is a brown-grey patina on the surface. It is possible that this weight is early medieval in date as a quantity of material dating to this period has been found in the vicinity. However, Watling (2009, 249) notes that similar weights, probably used to nets used for fishing and bird netting, have been found on sites ranging from the Iron Age to medieval periods. A heavily worn and corroded cast copper alloy fragment, possibly the front end of a buckle, part of a stirrup strap mount (possibly Williams Class B, Type 3 or 4) or part of a harness link element (cf. the central portion of SUSS-A55F19) of later early medieval date (c. 10th-12th century). The fragment is triangular, with stumps of a frame or plate projecting back and a convex body which tapers to a blunt point and has flanking oblique grooves at the junctions with the stumps. The reverse is concave.

An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy disc brooch. The brooch is flat and circular in plan with a plain front face which has corroded traces of an applied facing, now lost. The reverse has a hinge lug retaining a rusted portion of an iron pin and in-line catchplate, both mounted on a low central ridge.

A fragment of a Small Long Brooch of Early Medieval date (AD 500-600). The object is composed of a small square plate, with notches removed from the lower corners.
The plate is decorated on the upper face with punched ring a dot motifs, in two rows of three, across the upper and lower portions of the plate. On the reverse of the brooch there is a vertical integral lug with a central circular perforation.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup strap mount (Williams Class A, Type 8) of Medieval date (c.1000-1100).
Description: The mount is sub-triangular in plan with a zoomorphic head terminal at the apex. The decoration consists of a series of looping and bifurcating tendrils which end in lobes. The flange is not intact and is the piece that is missing. A minimal amount of iron corrosion is present on the reverse apex loop from the rivets. The object has a light red-brown patina.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy openwork zoomorphic strirrup-strap mount, dating from the Early Medieval period (c.AD 1000 - 1200).
Description: Only the upper part of the mount remains. This consists of a zoomorphic head in relief, surrounded by an openwork design: one central perforation above the beast's head, two to each side and the remains of two larger perforations below. The surviving edges of the object are scalloped. The object has a smooth, even, mid-brown patina.
