A copper alloy Roman barbarous radiate of a FEL TEMP REPARATIO (Roman soldier advancing left spearing fallen barbarian horseman) nummus issued for the later House of Constantine c. 355-361 AD. From the Numismatic Chronicle, 1933, pp. 182-201, Mattingly describes them as being 'from the normal down to the minutest, from the correct down to the most uncouth'. Arthur E.
