Copper-alloy double sheet stud fastener or rivet of uncertain date (c. 43 - 1750 AD). The object consists of two roughly-shaped rectangular copper-alloy sheets joined together by a thick, flat-headed rivet with a circular shank, leaving a wide gap between the two sheets. There is a small lump of dark-brown organic material still trapped between the two sheets, probably leather. Otherwise, the brown surface of the object is covered with light-green copper-alloy corrosion. The object is 22.06mm in length, 15.59mm in width and 7.83mm in thickness. It weighs 4.57g.

A Roman copper alloy fastener. The fastener consists of a cast rectangular plate, which is semi-lentoidal in section. The upper surface of the plate is separated into two equal cells by a horizontal rib. Each cell has five leaf shaped mouldings, perhaps intended to represent snakes. The area surrounding the mouldings is filled with red enamel, now degraded. The underside of the plate is plain.
