Medieval or post-medieval copper alloy sieve, crudely cut oval with multiple rectangular perforations (c.1.5-2mm x c.2mm) pierced from one direction, four larger perforations (one broken) for attachment at the outer. 54mm x (unbent) 55mm. Thickness 0.5mm. 14th - 17th century.

Unidentified object, fragment of an earthenware object with holes. One side is flat, the other has a raised curved ridge; to either side of the ridge circular-sectioned holes (diameter c.2.5mm) have been pushed through from the ridged side to the flat side. Oxidised fired sandy orange fabric. Uncertain function - possibly a sieve? Uncertain date - possibly Roman? Length 47.5mm, width 26.3mm, thickness 21.4mm, weight 22.95g.
