A copper-alloy cartwheel penny of George III (AD1760-1820) dated to AD1797 on reverse of coin. BRITANNIA reverse type depicting Britannia seated left. Second issue. Birmingham Soho mint. Spink p.419, no.3777.
The coin has been pierced, possibly for later use as a button. There is a large regular circular hole (4.35mm) in the very centre of the coin, pierced through from obverse to reverse. On the obverse there is a much smaller hole off centre however here the coin has not been pierced through, with no hole on the reverse.

A copper alloy coin of uncertain date. The coin appears to be of late Roman date (c.AD 305-360) and is heavily worn. The thickness of the coin though looks more like a milled flan and as such it is more likely to be late post medieval in date. The coin is recorded only because of its potential for being Roman and the uncertainty of the recorder.

A heavily eroded copper alloy coin or jetton. From the size and nature of the coin it is either a late Roman nummus (290 - 250) a later Medieval Jetton (1350 - 1650) or an tin coin of the later Tudor or Stuart period (1550 -- 1650). The coin has not been milled and so it is unlikely to be an 18th Century 'Condor' token. Due to the erosion and corrosion it is difficult to tell what date the coin is - the recorder prefers this example to be a tin / copper coin of the Tudor period - given its size ad thickness.

The exact date of the coin is uncertain but is either likely to be a Roman silver denarius or probably more likely a later medieval or post medieval coin. Not enough survives to be certain and no distinguishing diagnostic features are present
The melted coin measures; 16.2mm length, 9.4mm width, is 3.7mm thick and weighs 1.9 grams

A heavily eroded copper alloy coin - possibly a late Roman Radiate or nummus (260-350 AD) or a 17th century traders token (1650-1690). The coin is so poorly preserved that no details survive. It is a purple brown corroded colour with no original surface patina.
