A copper-alloy object, usually identified as a 'clip' or vessel mend dating to the Roman period. The object comprises a polygonal sheet. The two sides of the sheet have been folded over and then folded back on themselves. Underneath the folded area, there appears to be mineralised leather or some other type of corrosion product. It measures 19mm in length, 13mm in width and a maximum of 4mm in thickness. It weighs 0.8g.

Copper alloy fitting, possibly a belt or harness clip. The object consists of a front and back plate which project from a solid rectangular terminal, from which a rounded knob projects 8.11mm. The front plate, which measures 45.10mm in length, comprises a circular section, with a central perforation which is aligned with a similar hole in the back plate. A drop-shaped section links to a circular terminal, which also has a central perforation. The back plate is plain, with straight sides tapering towards a break. Its survives to a length of 24.91mm.
