.A fragment of uncertain metal copper-alloy object with incised decoration possibly from a Roman military belt sets dating 43-410. The fragment is rectangular, almost square in plan and section. It is decorated with a large ring and dot motif at the centre, the middle of which is 3.72mm wide. There is an incised border running up the edge of each side of the fragment 2.70mm wide. A complete, copper alloy, Roman, belt closure stud, AD.120-300. The object comprises a dumbell shaped stud with a concave depression in one of the wider sections. The object is formed of two wide circular sections with a narrower waisted connecting cylinder. There is a central piercing that passes through the object lengthways. Similar objects can be found in Nicolay 2007, pg.352 pl.41 type C.

The fitting comprises an openwork plate of three trumpet motifs which is lentoidal in plan and hemispherical in section. From the underside of the plate, there extend two circular-section lugs. It has a length of 39mm, a width of 16mm and a thickness of 4mm, but including the lugs 7mm.

An incomplete stud, possibly a decorative mount from a shoulder belt or harness fitting dating to the late second or third century AD. The stud possesses a flat circular head with two circular cut-outs, giving the stud head the appearance of two opposing pelta motifs. From the centre of the underside of the plate, there extends a small circular-section lug. The stud measures 29mm in diameter and 6mm in thickness. See a similar object from Weissenburg (Oldenstein 1976, 260, Taf. 51, Cat No. 598).

Two fragments from a copper-alloy pendant, possibly a terminal pendant from a sword belt dating to the late second or third century AD. The pendant is leaf-shaped with an expanded rounded terminal at one end and an attachment loop at the other. The pendant measures 47mm in length and a maximum of 36mm in width.
