A small fragment of thin glass, possibly with a trace of green colour, found on Castle Bank by a local member of the public in 2015. Despite discussion with members of staff at AC/NMW a firm age could not be ascribed. Probably Post Med but could be Roman (Jeff Spencer, CPAT, December 2015).

Small milky blue glass bead, possibly Roman dating from c. AD43-410, but probably post-medieval or modern. The bead is complete, made from creamy-blue coloured glass. It is long-cylindrical in shape with a perforation through its entire length. The bead looks as if it was made from a gritty glass paste with numerous small inclusions showing on the surface.
