A body sherd fragment from a Roman Gaulish samian ware hemispherical bowl. Form Dragendorff 37 dating from AD 150-200. The sherd has moulded decoration, consisting of a band of ovolo, under which are panels divided by rope twist borders. Within the panels are standing figures and wild beasts. The fragment has a pink fabric and is coated in a red slip on both the inside and outside. The slip is abraded and worn away from the high points of the moulded decoration.

A fragment of Roman colour coated fine ware pottery 'hunt' cup, dating to the 2nd-4th century, AD 150-400. The body is a white fabric with barbotine decoration drawn on to the exterior surface. The sherd has a dark slip coating on both the exterior and interior, similar to that used in Nene Valley and Rhine Valley (Cologne) pottery industries. The exterior decoration is head and part of a body of an animal, probably a dolphin in barbotine slip. The decoration on the lower band is uncertain, possible a table.

The sherd has a chamfered foot ring base. In the centre of the upper surface of the base is a maker's stamp of a rosette with 12 petals. de la Bedoyere (1988:12 fig 5) shows a similar stamp.

A fragment of Roman ceramic tile with Procuratorial stamp dating from AD 80-120. The fragment of tegula or brick has the impression of a stamp that when complete would have read PP BR LON, this is a type Betts 5 stamp. Only the first two letters of the stamp, 'PP' remain. The full stamp would have read P(rocuratores) P(ovinciae) BR(itanniae) LON(dinium). There were 3 examples of die 5 recorded by 1995 which were all recorded on tegula. (Betts 1995:211).
