Bronze 'handle'. Gently curving bronze strip, oval in section, narrowing and sharply curving at one end terminating in crude scroll and short continuation over top of scroll. Opposite end terminates in short rectangular flange or tenon. Moulded on either side of the widest part of the 'handle' are two human faces, one full-frontal, the other in half profile to left.

Decorative item. Sub-triangular uniface shape. The decorated face is divided into three cells, similar to a stylised fly. The outer 'wing-like' cells had traces of red enamel, the centre cell has traces of light-green enamel. The reverse has a small irregular dome-shaped protrusion.

Small ladle or spoon. The spoon bowl is a circular symmetrical dish. The edges of the dish are slightly miss-shaped and chipped. The spoon handle resemble thick wire, which tapers towards the end. The handle is distorted into a three-dimensional 'M' shape. The handle, if straight would stretch approximately 90mm. Traces of tinning over the spoon bowl and handle.

Iron corrosion in the semi-cylindrical spring case suggests iron axis bar which would have been held in the holes in the circular plates at the spring case ends. Traces of white metal coating on all parts (including catchplate). Plain spring cover. S-profile bow, rectangular in section, with a reeded band on the upper part. Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative rear hook/ Polden Hill variant type. Missing pin, damaged catchplate. Diagonal and terminal grooves on arms. D-section (almost rectangular) bow , central excised panel with 2 reserved notched/wavy lines. Sheet catchplate set in slot in bow. Length 53mm, width 31mm. Type as West Stow no. 160, detail closer to LMD 074 example - but differs in having a smaller, lower set rear hook and almost flat bow back.

Very similar to example from Burgate (BUR 020) except that the centre rib is not very prominent and does not merge into the rear hook - as Hattatt no 288 but this differs in other upper bow details. Copper alloy brooch, variant Colchester derivative double lug / Maxey bow and fantail. Missing spring, pin; some corrosion. The double pierced lug has corrosion obscuring the holes, which seem to be close to the body. 2 grooves on arm terminals. D-section upper bow with 6 (?) grooves; above the junction with the foot plate is a transverse groove. The flat foot plate is triangular with the point at the end; it has single incised lines along the sides and 2 slightly heavier ones across the top and bottom.
