An incomplete copper alloy arm from a pair Roman or Early Medieval tweezers, c. 43-700 AD.  Made from a single sheet of copper alloy, the artefact comprises a splayed triangular plate tapering upwards into an integral arm which has been broken. Very faint transverse line decoration is visible at the junction between the plate and the arm. The metal has a mid-green and brown patina and is very worn with large patches of visible corrosion. It has a flat oval head with an ovoid perforation at one end (length 3.5mm and width 2.2mm) which may have acted as a suspension loop. The hole appears to be worn at the top edge. The lower part of the pendant is a tapering strip of lead which is twisted into a spiral. The pointed end appears to be complete. Complete copper alloy Roman lunula pendant, c. AD 43-410. The artefact is a flat crescent or pelta shaped  pendant with bevelled edges and rounded terminals. Both faces are plain. The outer edge at the widest part of the crescent is slightly chipped, probably resulting from use or post-depositional factors. A silver Roman 'Legionary' denarius of Mark Antony (BC 42-30) dating to 32-31 BC (Reece Period 1).  The obverse is very worn but the outline of a boat can be discerned although the legend is illegible. Incomplete copper alloy sestertius of Commodus dated to AD 181. Obverse features the laureate bust of Commodus. The bust is severely worn, but it is possible to identify some of the hair curls and the tassle at the back of the laureate. Reverse features the worn figure of a left facing Annona holding ears of corn in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left hand. The coin has an uneven flan suggesting it has been clipped and on both faces the legends have worn away.
