A cast lead unidentified object, of unknown date, AD 43 - 1900. It is more spherical than hemispherical; domed with a flat reverse. One side is also flattened, perhaps as post depositional damage. An integral lead shaft projects from the centre of the circular flat face. The shaft has four longitudinal ridges and appears to be complete despite the short length. A cast lead sub-discoid possible weight or ingot, of unknown date, AD 43 - 1900. It is circular with ngled sides and an uneven sloping top face. The reverse has a concavity in the centre where the lead has contracted while cooling. There are no obvious marks. The mass does not fit into any standard systems of weight meaurement. An incomplete iron artefact, of Roman date, AD 41 - 410. It is sub-rectangular in plan, square at one end and tapering and curving to a rounded point at the other. The main body of the artefact is thicker along one edge than the other and the rounded point, which is set at a slight angle to the orientation of the main portion, is also thinner than the main body. A ceramic vessel fragment; a base and part wall sherd of Roman greyware dating from AD 43 - 410. The fabric is hard, fine and light  grey throughout. It has grit and quartz inclusions with some mica. The base is slightly concave on the underside and correspondingly convex on the inside and has a diameter of 59.6mm. The sherd is 25.1mm high and 52.7mm long. It weighs 38g. This sherd was found below the bottom of a previously excavated archaeological trench.

A fragment probably of a penanular brooch of uncertain date, but probably Roman. Booth Type A pennannular brooches are known from 200 BC to AD 700, but are most commonly from AD 50 - 200. Only less than half of the brooch survives. It has a simple slightly knobbed terminal deliniated by a groove, the hoop tapers form the terminal. An incomplete probable Roman copper-alloy furniture fitting dating from about AD 43-410. It is an onion shaped knop surmounted by a collar and a rounded knop. There is a groove around the base before an oval plate. Projecting from the centre of the plate is a copper alloy shaft of which only a stub survives. The shaft is about 2mm diameter. The breaks are worn and patinated. The object is 20.3mm long, maximum 12.7mm in diameter and weighs 5.86g. A fragment of a Roman, copper alloy figurine, probably a figurine of Mercury or Priapus dating from the first century AD. Only the hinged phallus of the figurine survives. The fragment has a sub circular cross section and is curved. The wider end is a very corroded hinge. The phallus divides into two and a separate hinge loop slots between them. A pair of testicles is moulded on the underside of the phallus, which tapers to a rounded glans. There is also a narrow crest on the top face of the phallus.
