4 sherds of ceramic vessels of late Roman date, c. 350-410. Three of the sherds are of a crumbly fabric with large calcite inclusions, identifying it as East Yorkshire calcite-gritted ware. One is a body sherd, and two are rim sherds; one rim sherds is extremely everted with a lid seating internally, suggesting a Huntcliff-type form. The fourth sherd is a base sherd of a greyware bowl, probably of teh Crambec industry.
