A circular foot from a ceramic pedestal vessel of Roman date, c.AD 43 - 410. The fabric is pale grey with a coarse sandy texture and a circumferential groove to the outer edge. A darker grey slip is present on the base and sides. The upper surface is irregular in patches with possible transfer of material from the body of the vessel.
