A lead pot mend and a fragment of the ceramic vessel, of probable Roman date, AD 43 - 410. The mend is two discs of lead, one large and oval and one smaller and nearly square. They are joined by a short stem (making the mend H shaped in cross-section) through a hole in the ceramic vessel. Some of the ceramic fabric survives. It appears to be a greyware with frequent quartz inclusions, suggesting a Roman date. Measurements are; length 28.3mm, width 24.2mm, thickness 9.9mm and weight 22.87g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch, a hinged heastud type, dating from around AD 100 - 225. It is of Mackreth Headstud group 8b.  The brooch consists of a small tubular case on the back of the wings for a copper alloy axis bar and hinged copper alloy pin which is missing apart from the top. The mechanism is masked by short wings with enamelled lattice in red and white on their front. A length of copper alloy bar of rectangular cross-section, of unknown date, probably Roman - Post Medieval. It has a well developed turquoise green patina. The thickness and width of the bar varies and it is slightly curved. The finder reports decorationin the form of small Xs, but these are difficult to positively identify as intentional and distinct from the other pitting on the surface. The edges are abraded making it difficult to determine whether the end are complete or breaks. Measurements are; length 59.9mm, width 4.5mm, thickness 3.6mm and weight 5.04g.

A stone possible gaming piece of possible Roman date, AD 43 - 410. The object is formed from a very smooth circular pebble, identified by the finder as Cornish greenstone. The pebble has two shallowly convex faces and rounded sides. It would have functioned well as a counter or gaming piece. It may have been naturally formed but collected for use as a playing piece. Measurements are; diameter 24.3mm, thickness 7.5mm and weight 6.74g. The stone is dark brown, fine grained and smooth, but with a slightly pitted surface under magnification. A copper alloy incomplete Roman trumpet brooch dating from AD 75 - 175. Only the lower bow survives. There is a double collar above and below the acanthus moulding of three petals above and three below the central disc. The moulding does not continue on ot the back of the bow. The lower bow is triangular in cross-section and the catchplate curls to the left when viewed head uppermost from the reverse. The foot is discoidal with a triple moulding. The brooch is 41.1mm long, 9.1mm wide and 12.4mm thick. 4.9g.

At the midpoint is a prominent acanthus button comprising a central disc flanked by five petals above and five below.
