An incomplete copper-alloy mount, probably depicting a cherub or Bacchus, possibly of Roman date. The mount depicts the face of a young male figure with elaborately curled hair with a sweeping curl at the centre of the forehead, a broad brow above oval eyes, a broad nose and, below this, a small mouth and pronounced rounded chin. A small portion of the neck survives. The reverse has a hollowed centre with flat edges. It measures 19.3mm long, 17.5mm wide, 5.2mm thick and weighs 3.7 grams. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman pelta shaped strap mount dating circa AD 200 - 350. The left side incurving terminal is missing broken off in antiquity and only a short piece of the central upward projection remains after similar damage. On its reverse a single integral rivet with a flattened head remains, which would have held the mount to a leather belt or tunic. The rivet is 3.5mm long and has a diameter of 4.4mm. An incomplete copper alloy strap mount of Roman date, circa AD 200 - 350. The pelta-shaped mount is missing one of its terminal ends which arc towards the stem of the centre. The stem has two lines of decoration which divide the upper terminal end into three. On its reverse side, there are two integral projecting rivet stems, the ends of which are slightly turned over. Roman copper alloy mount, 10mm in length, 6mm wide, mm thick with a weight of 1.30g. The object consists of a flat oval plate with a raised lip on each side. One surface has what appears to be deliberate scratching on one surface. The purpose of these objects is currently unknown, but it is very similar to another from this site - LEIC-E75A75 and three have also been recorded at the Roman temple site at Bosworth, Leics. ( LEIC-F0418E, LEIC-F00557 and LEIC-340BFE) which suggests they have a ritual purpose.

Roman copper alloy mount fragment, 19 mm in length, 8 mm wide and 3 mm thick with a weight of 0.85g. The object is sub-rectangular in form and cross section and consists of a flat plate with a slightly triangular terminal which has millefiori inlay consisting of five repeating flower-like motifs in a square field of alternate red, white and blue. This sits in a narrow flat border then the object before turns at right angles to form incomplete sides. The object is incomplete at one short end and its sides appear damaged. The object may be part of a decorative mount or similar.

Roman or Medieval? copper alloy object, Length: 23 mm, width: 8 mm, thickness: 4 mm, weight: 0.8 g. The object is incomplete and consists of an integral circular suspension loop sitting at the apex of a sub triangular plate. This curves slightly and it may be the top of an elongated medieval harness pendant or perhaps part of Roman toilet implement. The objects surface is very corroded and it is hard to place.

A Roman pelta-shaped mount. The head of the mount has a hollow underside and convex upper surface. At either end of the rounded bottom the sides angle inwards, extending upwards to a central point. This would have ended in a central hole which is now semi-circular. There is a circular hole at each side of the larger hole for seperate rivets, one of which is missing. The other end terminates in an oval knop which has a collar.

Short vertical grooves on the front face of the eagle delineate wings and claws, although the features of the head and beak are unclear. A cast copper alloy military harness mount of 2nd century AD date. S-shaped in plan and symmetrical, each terminal is in the shape of an openwork triangular head, with a ring-and-dot eye in the trinagular 'snout'. The form is similar to dragonesque brooches of earlier date, and reminiscent of dolphin-headed buckles of a similar date. The reverse is flat, and the object is D-shaped in section.
