A Roman copper-alloy mount with an integral rivet on its flat back. The mount is in the form of a projecting and facing head, which is now worn, above which is a triangular extension with a prominent V-shaped groove. The hair is cut in a fringe and the facial features are worn.

A Roman copper-alloy military harness pendant with thick silver plating on the front, now flaking on the edges. The pendant takes the form of a central 'palmette' with side scrolls which form rounded projections, and has two small oval-shaped holes at the spring of the scrolls and palmette. The pendant has a sleeve-like attachment loop.

A complete Roman iron linch pin (which has had the accumulated rust concretions removed by the finder). The pin has a rectangular sectioned arm with an expanded spatulate terminal from which a narrower arm pointed arm curves over.

A late Roman cast copper alloy strap end of 'Amphora-shaped' form, in very good condition with only the tip missing. This strapend has pelta-shaped apertures and would have been attached to a leather strap by means of a hinged fitting (eg Appels and Laycock Fig SL13.9). Such strap ends are associated with the late Roman military.

A Roman cast copper alloy locking bolt from a tumbler lock. The bolt is complete and in good condition. The apertures for the key are both triangular and rectangular.
Lock-bolts formed part of a tumbler-lock and would have been opened with a slide key. Similar lock bolts were discovered at Vindolanda in contexts dating between AD 120 and 180 (Birley, 1997, p26) and a number of examples are recorded on the database, cf WAW-73CEE6.

A Roman cast copper alloy mount of pointed oval or eye-shaped form. The mount is made from sheet metal and centrally is a low circular dome. The dome is pierced and through the aperture has been inserted a short split pin which holds an annular attachment loop. Around the circumference of the mount is a series of thirteen punched circles each with a central dot; some of the dots have broken through to make a hole. On the back of the object are remins of solder.
The purpose of this mount is unclear. The shape may be intended to represent the human eye.

A cast copper alloy gilded circular Roman plate brooch of 2nd century AD date. The brooch has three concentric recessed fields. The middle field is decorated with punched circles, now faint. Much of the outer edge and the outer circle is broken away. On the back is the remains of an iron spring.
