Cast lead spindle whorl dating from the Roman to Post-Medieval period, (43-1700). The object is circular in plan and slightly biconical. It has a central circular perforation. Both the upper and lower surfaces are decorated with a circular ridge from which radiates spiralling lines. A raised ridge borders the internal perforation and the outer circumference of the object. The outer edge of the object has been damaged however it is in good condition. It has a light white patina.
