1) Axe fragment length 33mm, width 36mm, thickness 18mm. Multiple flaking scars on the ventral and the dorsal sides, the proximal and distal ends have been truncated and the artefact has suffered from frost damage. This is a grey flint and dates to the Neolithic. 2) 8 microlithis, average size length 21mm, width 5mm, thickness 3mm. Six have one arise on the dorsal the others have two, no bulb of percussion on the ventral. four have a creamy patina, the rest are dark grey flints with a speckled creamy patina. Lithic implements 1) 4 Blades average size length 29mm, width 12mm, thickness 3mm. Three have one arise on the dorsal and the last has two arises, soft hammered bulb on the ventral. Two have a creamy patina, one is a grey flints with darker speckling and one is a light brown flint with creamy patches. 11 Fire damaged flint, average size length 25mm, width 20mm, thickness 14mm. These flints have been is a very high and long sustained heat. The high heat has resulted in cracking throughout the flint leaving the artefacts with a marble looking surface. It has also left these flints vulnerable to the elements and has meant that many of these have been truncated buy frost damage. These artefacts date from the Palaeolithic through to the Late Iron Age.
