An incomplete copper alloy brooch, dating from the late Iron Age to early Roman period c.AD 25-60. It is a one-piece Colchester brooch, Mackreth 2011, Standard British Colchester, plate 23, no.92. The head of the brooch comprises short rectangular wings with an integral forward-facing hook projecting from the centre of the top edge. The object comprises a bar of of broadly circular section, with worn gentle facets which tapers in diameter from one end at 5.49mm to 4.93mm at the other. Each end is capped with a circular disc-like terminal which are also of different diameter: 10.39mm and 11.82mm respectively. A wall sherd from the body of a late Iron Age to early Roman ceramic earthenware vessel. Thick irregularly shaped fragment of hard coarse fabric tempered with spare poorly white quartz (mainly <2mm, occasionally up to 3.5mm). Black core and light grey internal and external surfaces with smooth faces. The external surface is covered with parallel grooves. The fragment measures 60.3mm long, 53.5mm wide, 10.2mm thick and weighs 34.36 grams.

A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.
