A fragment of gold, likely hack gold from a penannular bracelet of Bronze Age date, possibly c.1100-850 BC. Description: The object is broadly 'axe-shaped' with a sub-circular terminal that tapers to a flat rectangular cross section. This was likely achieved by cutting and hammering. The tapered end has been cut, indicated by a bright rugged cut. In plan, the object is shaped as a fish or dolphin tail with a rectangular body ending in a worn concave break. One fin is wider and slightly longer than the other. The obverse is bevelled whilst the reverse is flat with a rectangular section. A complete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of probably early Bronze Age date. Description: Made from a mid grey-brown flint. The arrowhead is triangular with a slightly squared tang and slightly curved barbs (one is squared off, possibly from a break), the other rounded at the end. Both faces have covering scaled low angle retouch.  Dimensions: length 29.07mm, width 21.35, thickness 3.94mm, weight 1.96g Notes: Similar flint barb and tanged arrowheads are associated with the Beaker phase of the Late / final Neolithic and Early Bronze Age c. 2500 BC-1500 BC.
