An almost complete copper alloy unlooped palstave of Middle Bronze Age date (c. 1500-1300BC). Early palstave of Group II - mid rib type.
The blade of the palstave is triangular shaped in plan with expanding sides. The cutting edge measures 57.3mm in width and is 5.3mm thick. The cutting edge is blunt. A complete Early Bronze Age copper-alloy low flanged developed axehead.
The axehead is sub rectangular in cross section and has a shallow lenticular side profile. It has a rounded and arched butt and slightly diverging sides that abruptly expand to a broad crescentic blade and cutting edge, with the blade tips at right angles to the sides, but not recurving. Very faint cast flanges extend along the sides, rising very gradually from the butt towards the middle of the axe and sloping down again to the blade expansion.

A complete copper alloy flat axehead, probably dating from the Early Bronze Age period (c. BC 2350 - c. BC 2050).
The axe is broadly rectangular in plan with a slightly splayed crescentric blade. In profile and in section the object is broadly lentoid.
The sides of the axe gently taper outwards with a shallow curve, from the rounded butt to the blade. The curve is less shallow towards the blade. The axehead has suffered significant loss from corrosion on all surfaces, particularly at the blade and the butt.

AN incomplete probable miniature copper alloy socketed axe head, probably dating from the Bronze Age to the Roman period (1000 BC to AD 410).
Less than 25% of the socketed axehgead is present, consisting of the loop and part of the mouth. There is a large loop taking up most of the length od the body one end has a large flange. Rear is concave suggesting that this is one half of the casting blade end appears broken away.
It measures 34 mm in length, 18.8 mm wide and 3.7 mm thick. It weighs 12.7 g.

The casting jet is conical in shape. The top surface is sub oval in shape, with a rounded edge, and a concaved surface. Below this, the jet narrows to a point, with slightly facetted sides.

A cast copper alloy casting jet or "gate" with two stumps of sprues of possible Late Bronze Age date.
The jet is made of a sub-triangular body from one side of which are two projecting sprues placed on opposite edges of the body. The sprues are sub-circular in cross section and conical in shape. The body has a D-shaped cross section, with the flat side being the outer edge.The object has a brown/ green mottled surface patina.

A complete copper alloy ring of a dark brown colour. The darker colouring may be due to waterlogged condition of the soil, and there are areas of wear and chipping where the green colouring of copper alloy are visible. The object is annular with a D-shaped cross section; it has a flat interior and a convex exterior. The centre has two groove. There is one groove at the top and bottom of the ring.
The dating of this object is diffuclt to specify, ranging from Bronze Age to Post-Medieval. It is possibly a harness ring, but could have had a number of uses.

An incomplete, heavily worn fragment of a cast Bronze Age copper alloy palstave axe head, probably of Late Bronze Age date c. 1050 - 750 BC. The fragment consists of the end of the blade, above which is a worn and abraded break.
The fragment sub-oval in plan and has an elongated pointed sub- rectangular section. The axe fragment tapers from the broken edge to the blade.
It measures 26.5mm in length and 11.1mm in width. It has a thickness of 4.2mm and weighs 3.8 grams.

A probably complete circular sectioned copper alloy rod, of uncertain dating.
The artefact has a circular cross section and consists of a cylinderical rod. The rod has been bent back on itself, forming an almost complete loop. One end is wider (5.5 mm) than the other (4.9) mm. Both ends are patinated. It is hard to tell if they are complete or broken.
If straightened, it would have a length of 92 mm. Currently it has a length of 42.5 mm, a width of 25.1 mm and is 5.4 mm thick. It weighs 14.0 g.

An incomplete stone possible mould, for an uncertain object, possibly a spear tip, possibly of Middle Bronze Age dating (2300 BC to 1500 BC).
Around 25% of the possible stone mould is present, consisting of a triangular recess, with raised edges. The reverse is rounded with no signs of working. Breaks are present along the raised edges and at the base of the triangular recess.
It measures 60.7 mm in length, 31.2 mm wide and 13.0 mm thick. It weighs 31.7 g.
The stone is a fine grained probable sandstone. Light brown in colour, with a smooth surface.
