28 sherds of handmade Bronze Age to Early Iron Age pottery, weighing in total 338g. The sherds are mainly body sherds, but one large rim sherd does survive. It has an inverted rim. The pottery is undecorated. It has chalk tempering, which has largely leached out, therefore resulting in the production of lots of holes in the matrix of the clay. The pottery is a coarse ware, which has been lightly fired in a clamp fire, rather than a kiln.

Tip fragment, very tip extant, as is main body. Very denuded. Lozenge shaped section, mid rib cast in, middle both faces. Ref. to scan. Corroded surface sealed with unknown chemical. Although there is no image or illustration attached to this record, the brief description suggests a spearhead dating from the Middle or Late Bronze Age, about 1550 – 800 BC. Whilst, from the description, an insufficient portion of the spearhead remains to prove diagnostic, as the midrib appears to continues to the point, it is probably comparable with the range of spearheads in Davis Groups 6-11.
