Short length of distorted gold rod of approximately circular cross-section. Both ends appear to have been cut using a chisel. Diameter of rod 5mm; weight 3.21g. Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface indicated a gold content of approximately 55-58%, a silver content of approximately 40-44% and a copper content of more than 1%. Possibly a distorted solid penannular ring, the diameter of which would have been approximately 13mm. Fragment of a plain gold rod. The gold rod is circular in section and is rounded at one end and broken at the other. The surface is smooth and only slightly pitted. There is no decoration though some evidence for small hammer marks on the rod. Due to its undiagnostic nature it does not represent Treasure under the terms of the Treasure Act (1996).

Fragment of a penannular ring comprising a gold foil cover over a base metal core. The piece is very worn but traces are visible of the original striped decoration of yellow and paler gold. Maximum surviving dimension 16mm; diameter of hoop 5mm; weight 2.54 grams. The piece is a well known Bronze Age type, decorative in character, dating to circa 1150-750 BC. The item qualifies as Treasure under the Designation Order 2002, in that it is of prehistoric date and part of the object is precious metal.

A cast copper alloy awl or tracer dating to the Bronze Age. The centre, which is the thickest part is square in section. From the centre to the blunt end the awl narrows and becomes circular in section. In the other direction from the centre, the awl narrows to a chisel shape with a flat rounded end. The awl is 61.5mm long, 6.1mm wide, 5.9mm thick and weighs 12g.

A Bronze age copper alloy Awl dating to 2150-800 BC. The awl is linear with a circular section in the centre. At one end the awl narrows to a rounded tip, while the other is flattened to rectangular cross section, terminating in a point. The implement is cast in one piece and is 45.9mm long, 7.5mm wide, 6.2mm thick and weighs 7.9grams. For a similar example see HAMP-FA35B4.

A possible Bronze age cast copper alloy fragment of an Awl. The awl is linear in plan, narrowing to a point at one end. The other end has been broken by an old break. The edged of the awl are raised and appear to have been bent over in the centre of the awl, possibly at the same time that the awl was broken. The fragment is 40.6mm long, 7.1mm wide, 3.8mm thick and weighs 3.9 grams.

A cast copper alloy bead of unknown date. The bead is irregular discoidal in shape. The central hole is irregular and irregularly placed, it measures 7.1mm. The bead is very worn, but complete. Simple copper alloy beads of this type are hear to date outside of excavated contexts as they are used from the Iron Age through to the Post Medieval period. `6.5mm in external diameter, 10.9mm in width and weighs 9.32g.

A cast, metal, annular ring of uncertain date, probably dating from the Middle Bronze Age to Medieval period (1600 BC-AD 1500). A copper-alloy fragment from an early Roman bow/fibula type brooch.Only the lower part of the bow and the foot survive. The bow is parallel-sided and of triangular cross section. A Middle Bronze Age hoard consisting of two copper alloy palstaves. The hoard was found 50 feet in a re-deposited easement from a pipeline between 6-12 inches under the ground. Description: 1.
