A complete Middle Bronze Age unlooped early / primary shield pattern palstave of Group 1 (ollowing Schmidt and Burgess 1981), 147.5mm in length. The palstave has a well developed stop (23.6 thick) fused with high flanges along the sides which taper smoothly back to the butt providing a lenticular side profile. There is a depression in front of the stop on either face which is the remains of a shield pattern. An incomplete copper alloy socketed axehead of late Bronze Age date (c 1000 - 800 BC) corresponding to the Ewert Park metalworking phase (Needham’s (1996) Period 7). The surviving portion of the axehead is 47.4mm in width and 32.7mm in length, comprising the front end which has a flared, semi circular blade, with pointed, almost hooked ends. A small cast copper alloy dirk, 77mm in length, of early to middle Bronze Age date, probably part of the Arreton to Taunton Metalworking assemblages. The blade is pointed, with concave sides and tapers to a blunt point. It has clearly been subject to extensive and repeated re-sharpening over a prolonged period and now retains little of its original form. A complete copper-alloy awl of late Bronze Age date, 104mm in length. One half has a sub rounded cross section and tapers to a point, the other has a sub rectangular section which begins 37mm back along the length of the shaft and tapers to a rounded chisel tip. The surface has a deep-green patina with considerable loss, but there is no evident decoration.

A fragment of a middle Bronze Age copper alloy axehead, probably a flanged or palstave type, comprising a 22mm long section of the cutting end. The blade is flat in profile, 7.5mm thick at the break and has a flared crescentic cutting edge, 35mm in width which tapers to around 1mm thick. The body of the axehead has a narrow rectangular cross section, 21mm wide, and ends at a break which is patinated and looks ancient.

A fragment comprising the mid part of the blade from a late middle to late Bronze Age socketed spear, 19.2mm in length. The blade is narrow and was originally probably leaf shaped. It has a pronounced rib with oval cross sectioned profile 9.6mm thick. This rib has slight ridges at the junction with the wings on both sides. The centre is hollow. Possibly either a pegged or looped type. Circa 1400 BC - 800 BC.

A fragment of the tip of a Bronze Age spearhead, probably dating from the Middle or Late Bronze Age, c.1550 – 800 BC. The fragment is narrow and triangular, tapering to the point. It has a pronounced oval midrib that is solid and runs to the point of the spear with narrow wings of the blade to either side. The break is ancient and highly abraded.

A flint scraper or multi-functional tool of Bronze Age date, made from a primary struck flake of mottled dark grey-brown flint, 46.8mm in length. The dorsal surface retains around 70% dark brown cortex cover, with short scaled abrupt and semi abrupt retouch around the distal end and sides to creating a usable edge. The proximal end has been worked into a blunt point with long retouch, suggesting that the tool could have been multifunctional with an additional piercing function.
