A fragment of cast copper-alloy balded fragment of Middle to Late Bronze Age date, likely from a sword, rapier or dirk.
Description: The fragment has a lozenge-shaped cross section and near paralalel bladed sides. The midrib is very low and not extenuated. The irregular breaks and bent ends are well patinated, suggesting the damage occurred in antiquity, possibly intentionally as is common with contemporary weapon and tool fragments

Axehead fragment:
A copper alloy Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment, comprising a corner of the socket. The surviving portion of the external profile suggests quite a narrow, tapering form.The internal profile of the socket appears sub rectangular. There are breaks to all sides of the fragment, so nothing from the rim or blade remains.The axehead fragment is 28.5mm long, 21.1mm wide, 10.1mm thick and weighs 14.42g.

Description: The blade in broadly sub-triangular in plan, narrowing gradually along its length to a curved tip, the base being a diagonal break. In cross-section, the fragment is a pointed oval shape. However, the blade has a central edge running down its middle on both surfaces such that it is also broadly lozenge in shape. An incomplete cast copper-alloy object, possibly of middle to late bronze age date c.1500-750 BC.
Description: The object is roughly cast and survives as a narrow conical. Both ends terminate in rough breaks and the walls are veyr thick. On one side there is an overlap likely some fault in the casting or vagaries of production. It has a heavily patinated and pitted surface which obscure more detail. It remains a mottled light green to turquoise colour.

A Bronze Age hoard of 40 LBA copper-alloy ingot fragments.
Description: The deposit consists a ‘founder’s hoard’ of 40 LBA plano-convex ingot fragments (see catalogue for a record of each individual fragment). The total (unwashed) weight of the hoard is 15.18kg, with the heaviest being 1489g (SF 003) and the lightest a mere 51g (SF 021). All bar one of the ingots were archaeologically excavated from the same feature, but the outlier discovered only a short distance away is almost certain to have originated from this deposit – likely disturbed by later ploughing.

Description: The fragment comprises a strip of sheet gold with transverse breaks at either end. One of these is a 'clean' cut so that the profile of the cross-section of the sheet is clearly visible, while the other is squashed and jagged. A fragment of cast copper-alloy bronze age object, probably South Eastern type socketed axehead, dating to the period c.1000 - 800BC.
Description: The fragment is roughly L-shaped in profile, with the surviving outside edges being heavily polished and slightly convex. This latter point suggests it represents part of the body of the axehead. The internal sides is unfinished and rough, with swelling towards the centre slightly. It is noticeable that the fragment's walls are impractically thin. It has a very dark-grey green patination.

Description: The bead is in the form of annular ring with a wide central hole. The circumference of one side of the ring has been heavily abraded outwards. The central perforation is cylindrical. The object is a mid grey-green colour. The bead does have surface wear and pitting present.

A mouth fragment of cast copper-alloy socketed axe, dating to the Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age c. 1000 - 700 BC.
Description: The triangular fragment represents part of the socketed end of the axe head and is unevenly shaped. Part of the rimmed collar for the socket remains. The fragment is slightly curved. Both the internal or external surface are rough and pitted, some of this is down to lack of finishing and some due to corrosion. It has a mottled dark-light green patina.

A coarse flint scraper likely of late prehistoric date c 2200-1 BC.
Description: The scraper is made from a highly patinated primary flake with a rough L-shape in plan. The retouch along the wide straight sccraping edge, alogn the upper left side is formed ofshort, scaled semi-abrupt retouch. There is some blunting along the lower right side from short scaled sbrupt retouch which invades the mostly covering light brown cortex. The reverse shows a small but pronounced bulb of percussion with clear conchoidal rippling.
