An incomplete copper alloy late Bronze Age sword hilt probably dating to the Ewart Pak metalworking tradition dated 950 - c.750 cal. BC. The hilt remains consist of the terminal and a small portion of the plate. The terminal is 'fishtailed' with flared, sloping sides and a straight end with a width of 39.68mm and thickness of 2.7mm. A complete cast copper alloy (bronze) short flanged axe of Middle Bronze Age dating, probably of the Acton Park I metalwork assemblage and dating from c.1700 to c. 1500BC. The axe has a shield shaped pattern below a very slight stop ridge, and raised flange facets. The blade of the object expands outwards to a crescentic cutting edge.
