It has a slight curve to it, giving the object a ‘C’ shaped cross section and very little of the object remains. The fragment is undecorated and has a smooth light green patina. It has a slight curve to it and has a small perforation through the side which would have allowed the socket to be  pegged to a shaft. The fragment is undecorated and has a smooth light green patina. An incomplete copper alloy late Bronze Age sword hilt probably dating to the Ewart Pak metalworking tradition dated 950 - c.750 cal. BC. The hilt remains consist of the terminal and a small portion of the plate. The terminal is 'fishtailed' with flared, sloping sides and a straight end with a width of 39.68mm and thickness of 2.7mm. The hilt plate is half the width of the terminal end and presents two raised parallel ribs along its length on both faces. An incomplete cast copper alloy tanged dagger or knife dating to the middle to late Bronze Age (c.1300-900 BC). The object is comprised of a sub-rectangular tang with a rounded end and two circular rivet holes placed one below the other in the centre. The holes have a external diameter of 3.5mm and the tang is 28.5mm in length and 14.5mm wide. A complete cast copper alloy (bronze) short flanged axe of Middle Bronze Age dating, probably of the Acton Park I metalwork assemblage and dating from c.1700 to c. 1500BC. The axe has a shield shaped pattern below a very slight stop ridge, and raised flange facets. The blade of the object expands outwards to a crescentic cutting edge. The cutting edge measures 1mm thick. In profile the blade is sub-triangular with the widest section being before the stop ridge.
