A cast copper-alloy 'melon' bead of uncertain date, but probably Roman. Sub-circular in plan with a circular 8.4mm smooth-sided aperture in the centre. The sides have a spiralling gadrooned decoration of seven relief moulded curved ridges with deep grooves between. The top and bottom are slightly dished/concave, probably from wear. The surface displays a pale green patchy patina. Diameter 16.3mm, height 9.3mm, wall thickness 3.5mm > 4mm, weight 6.8g. A fragment of a Late Bronze Age copper-alloy gouge (1150 - 800 BC). The gouge consists of a semi-circular shaped blade tip. It is possible that this gouge was socketed, however there is no indication of a socket remaining. The blade is C-shaped in cross-section throughout its length and concave, with the hollow of the blade increasing towards the cutting-edge. The sides of the blade are slightly trapezoidal expanding towards the cutting edge which is rounded. The break is irregular and the reverse of the gouge is rounded. A fragment of gold, likely hack gold from a penannular bracelet of Bronze Age date, possibly c.1100-850 BC. Description: The object is broadly 'axe-shaped' with a sub-circular terminal that tapers to a flat rectangular cross section. This was likely achieved by cutting and hammering. The tapered end has been cut, indicated by a bright rugged cut. In plan, the object is shaped as a fish or dolphin tail with a rectangular body ending in a worn concave break. The copper alloy fragment is a sub rectangle with one terminal being broken, but not recently. This end reveals that the body is voided, possible from corrosion. The opposite edge is wider and has a blunted edge. The upper and lower surface of the fragment has an incomplete matte mid green patina. A complete Middle to Late Bronze Age copper-alloy early unlooped palstave of primary phase group II dating c. 1500-1250 BC. There is no loop on the palstave. The blade of the palstave is sub-trapezoidal in plan with straight sides and flared blade tips. The blade edge is abraded, slightly blunt and has small notch at one end of the blade. A fragment from a cast copper-alloy socketed axe, probably of the South Eastern type, dating to the Late Bronze Age c.1000-800 BC.  The sub-triangular fragment is from the side upper body containing part of the expanded socket rim and the securing loop below and displays casting seams indicating a two piece mould. General thickness varies between 1.9mm and 2.1mm with the socket rim measuring 4.3mm. The surface displays a fairly even green patina. Height 43.1mm, width 22.7mm > 11.3mm and weight 20.7g.

An incomplete very worn copper alloy flanged flat axehead probably dating to the Early Bronze Age c. 2050-1700 cal BC.
