An oblique-ended bone point, of an uncertain date. Similar items are known from Bronze Age to Medieval contexts. The bone has been worked to create a circular cross-section shaft that tapers gradually being cut into an oblique-ended point.The opposite end has been cut at straight angle, and there is some edge damage.

A worked bone point, possibly intended for use as an awl or similar item, of uncertain date. It is formed from an elongated bone of uncertain form, possibly a metatarsal or similar. At one end the bone has been filed to create a broad point that is triangular in profile and has a flattened rectangular tip. All surfaces towards the tip end have evidence of both transverse and longitudinal tool marks and are smoothly polished, perhaps as a result of use-wear. Two fragments of sheep-sized animal bone.
Neither fragment can be confidently identified to species or element, but would have likely come from the long bone of a sheep-sized animal.
Fragment 1 measures 32.14mm long, 10.70mm wide, 3.29mm thick and weighs 1.3 grams.
Fragment 2 measures 19.57mm long, 21.06mm wide, 5.55mm thick and weighs 1.5 grams.
Both fragments together weigh 2.8 grams.
Both fragments exhibit signs of abrasion and post-mortem damage. No butchery marks or evidence of working are present.
