An incomplete copper-alloy spear of probable Middle to Late Bronze Age date. Only the tip survives, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. It is triangular in form with prominent mid rib and flattened blades that give the surviving fragment a lozenge shaped cross-section. The tip is rounded and perhaps incomplete due to old breaks, while in the breaks towards the butt end can be seen the remains of a central circular socket. A copper alloy fragment, probably of a Bronze Age axehead not further defined dating c. 2050-800 cal BC. The fragment is an elongated D shape in plan with a sub-triangular profile and comprises the worn crescentic cutting edge of an axehead. The blade tips don't survive. The transverse break is worn and the object has patches of a glossy dark green patina. Measurements: length: 40.39mm; width: 10.34mm; thickness: 4.55mm and weight:5.26g.   Not enough of the object survives to define further.

An incomplete copper alloy socketed gouge of late Bronze Age date, c.950 - 750 BC.  The remaining portion is a length of the hollow socket with a tapered U-shaped blade terminal to one end. The opposite end terminates in a worn break. From the socket end the blade tapers to a rounded cutting/gouging edge which is concave to one side of the body. The gouging edge is extremely worn. A fragment of a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead dating to the period. c 1150-800 cal BC. The fragment comprises the socket section of the axehead of which half survives. The lower half and opposing side are lost to semi-worn irregular breaks. There is no evidence of a collar around the rectangular socket rim. The thickness of the body tapers from 6.2mm at the rim to 3.6mm at the lower break. The wider face of the fragment is decorated with three flat vertical ribs (2.7mm-4.3mm wide). A fragment of a middle Bronze Age side-looped spearhead. Only the socket survives. This is circular in cross-section, hollow and expands slightly towards its outer end. To either side of the inner end there is a small attachment loop, which would have allowed it to be secured to the shaft. The surface of the metal is heavily corroded with a silvery coating visible in places.  Spearheads with side loops date generally to the Acton Park and Taunton phases of the middle Bronze Age, c.1550-c.1250 BC (Davis 2017). A small, incomplete and extremely corroded cast copper alloy dirk, of early to middle Bronze Age date, probably part of the Arreton to Taunton Metalworking assemblages. The blade is pointed, tapering with concave sides to a point. It has clearly been subject to extensive and repeated re-sharpening over a prolonged period and now retains little of its original form. A fragment from a Middle to Late Bronze Age spearhead. Only part of the blade and midrib survive. The fragment is broadly rectangular in plan having three regular linear breaks running at right angles to the surviving blade edge. This edge is rounded and shows no signs of damage. After c.11.3mm the plate splits to from what would have been a hollow probably circular/oval midrib. One of these plates has been slightly squashed against the other. A later prehistoric end scraper struck from a secondary nodule fragment of dark grey flint with a light brown cortex retained over 60% of the dorsal surface. The flake has been removed by hard hammering and there is no evidence of a prepared striking platform. The distal end has long semi abrupt parallel retouch defining a working edge which has been largely obscured by battering damage, some of this is clearly post depositional as it has broken the patina.

An incomplete copper-alloy flat axehead of early Bronze Age date, c.2150 - 1500 BC. The axehead is sub-trapezoidal with an ovate section. It expands to a flared cutting edge at one end and terminates in a worn break at the opposite end. The cutting edge is worn. The axehead is extremely worn and undecorated. No signs of ridges or flanges are present indicating that this is an early flat axe. The metal has a delaminated mid-brown/green patina. The axehead is 43.7mm long, 29.6mm wide, 12.1mm thick and weighs 53.3g.

A secondary flake of dark grey brown flint which appears to have been removed by hard hammer from a nodule and re-used as a tool, probably in the later prehistoric period. The distal end is triangular with steep sides defined by long and short semi-abrupt retouch into a working point. The right side long edge has scaled low angle retouch on the ventral face to refine a cutting edge suggesting the tool may have had a variety of functions.

A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead, 31mm in length, dating to the early Bronze Age / Beaker period (c. 2500 BC-c. 1500 BC) and made from a pale brown flint. The arrowhead is triangular with lenticular cross-section and has scaled and low angle retouch on both sides. The barbs are longer than the tang and convex on the outer edges with obliquely angled tips (Type C) and the tang is narrow and rounded (Type G).  This example fits into the sub-classification of non-Fancy B&T arrowheads best described as Green Low types (Butler 2005: 162-165, after Green (1980).
