Early bronze age straight-sided thin-butted flat axe. In v. good condition Note - Peter Reavill - 18/5/21. Thanks are extended to Dr Brendan O'Connor who has suggested that this axe form is now better understood after the recent publication of Stuart Needham 2017: The Classification of Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age Copper and Bronze Axe-head from Souther Britain. This axehead appears as Cat No:18 in Needham's above classification and is ascribed to Needham Class 2D Type Halberton dating to the period 1: 2450-2325 BC

Penannular Bracelet. One terminal is missing. The torc is 79mm wide, 64mm deep and 9.4mm diam in the centre. The `seams` are still visible on the terminal and half of the loop. The other portion of the loop has the seam removed and file marks are visible here. The terminal is obliquely truncated conical terminal.

Late Bronze Age socketed axehead, looped with three parallel ribs on each face (faint on one side), trumpet mouthed. Mouth partly missing - damaged in antiquity. Prominent casting seams on each side face. Width of blade (widest) 44mm. Diameter of mouth circa 35mm. Found with two possible bronze casting droplets each approx. 15mm diameter and 7mm thick (see LVPL-FB33CD).
