The object is hollow cast with a lead alloy core and copper alloy outer casing. the upper end is tapered and retains two short circular sectioned iron spurs which would have formed a suspension loop. The upper end is collared and expands into the pear shaped body, which is decorated with two pairs of concentric circles. The base of the object is abraded exposing the lead alloy core.
