A copper alloy toy cannon. The toy cannon is comprised of a circular barrel which tapers slightly in diameter towards the muzzle. At the butt is a rounded, necked knob (cascabel button). Beyond this are two convex collars (the first deeper than the second) with a narrowed section between in which is the circular touch hole (for igniting the explosive charge to fire the piece). A complete toy wheel from a post medieval gun carriage dating to c.AD 1700-1800. The wheel is circular with a sub-rectangular section. It has a spoked interior of a four-armed cross with a circular perforation in the centre. It has a dark green / brown patina. A complete Post Medieval cast copper-alloy toy table fork dating c. AD 1600-1700. The fork has an integral pistol-grip handle and collar before a waisted shank and two prongs set parallel to one another. The patina is dark brown in colour with small patches of lamination on one of the prongs. The toy fork measures 63.6mm in length, 8.4mm wide, 3.9mm thick and weighs 6.67 grams. For parallels, see NMS-63F0CA and NMS-0EC6F2 on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database, and Forsyth with Egan 2005, 134, Type 3, Design 1.

A cast copper alloy fragment, possibly the grip and pommel from a small toy sword or ornamental paperknife of probable 19h century date. The object is 35.5mm in length, with an ovate grip decorated with closely spaced transverse ridges. The pommel is biconical with six facets to each side and a small terminal knop. The other end has broken away, but traces of rusted iron suggest that there would have been an iron blade attached.

A small lead object, possibly a toy, maybe a miniature cup, vase, chalice or candlestick, or perhaps part of the end of a toy gun or cannon. It dates from the Post medieval period, about AD 1600 - 1900. It is circular in cross-section. It has a solid disc at one end, then a narrow neck, before a wider hollow tubular element with raised ridges round the circumference. Measurements are; height 21.5mm, diameter at top 12.5mm, diameter of base 11.3mm and hole in the cup bit 5.8mm in diameter. Weight 7.81g. It has a white patina with possible dark grey paint.
