The obverse of the token consists of a long cross with a pellet in each quarter (Powell type 14). Reverse is undecorated. Part of the casting sprue is visible on the reverse. It measures 15.7 mm in length, is 11.3 mm wide and 3.1 mm thick. It weighs 1.6 g. The token is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. Token is heavily worn.

A bifacial lead token, probably of Medieval date. This artefact has an approximately circular shape. It weighs 6.57g, has a diameter of 22.8mm and maximum thickness of 3.5mm. Decoration on both sides of the flan is in relief. At the centre, of one side of the token, there is a raised pellet of 2.7mm diameter. Raised lines, of c. 1.3mm width, radiate out from the central pellet in a similar fashion to the spokes of a bicycle wheel. One side of the token has a raised design of five irregularly-spaced lines radiating from the middle and at the end of each line is a pellet. The other side is blank. It measures 17.87mm in diameter, 2.26mm thick and weighs 3.4 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore difficult to date precisely and ones with simple designs could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date, c. 1250-1800 AD.
