A cast copper-alloy fitting, probably of Roman date. The fitting has a tapering, almost drop-shaped body that is curved in profile (almost J-shaped) and V-shaped in section. Near the wide end, there is a circular perforation to each side of the central ridge. There appears to have been a break at the narrow tip.

A cast copper-alloy possible handle from a house or furniture of uncertain date, but probably post-Medieval. The object has a cylindrical body with two differently sized discoidal ends.. The smaller disc has a diameter of 29.37mm and the larger disc has a diameter of 34.6mm. The body is slightly facetted, probably due to the manner in which the mould was made rather than for decoration. Roman terminal, with broken hollow handle. Cast in copper alloy, the terminal is circular in plan measuring 29.59mm in diameter, with an incised ring 6.8mm from the edge. Inside this ring the terminal forms an irregular dome with an off centre circular hole (diameter 5.86mm). This hole extends through to the hollow handle. The object is a stud, probably used for furnishings as it is too large to be a pin. It’s made from copper alloy and is complete. Margeson (1993 Norwich Households Medieval and Post Medieval Finds From Norwich Survey Excavations 1971-78 EAA Report No. 58.) illustrates an incomplete stud (No. 525) which has the same shaped head as the recorded example. Copper alloy fitting, probably of Roman date. At one end there is a slightly flattened sphere with a circular recess on one side (D. 6.91mm. Th. 6.05mm). On the opposite side the sphere is attached to a circular open-work element. There is a circular frame, D-shaped in section, which is broken so that the circle is not complete (D. 17.9mm. Th. 3.6mm). Within this frame there is a broadly cruciform shaped open-work design. At the centre of this design the four arms meet in to form a lozenge shape. One of the arms is broken. Even mid-green patina.

Cooper alloy terminal in the form of a rams head and neck. One end is the ram’s muzzle, and the object then expands to form the head and neck of the animal. The piece is heavily abraded so that much of the detail which may once have been evident is now lost. However, the general shape of the animal’s head and neck can be discerned. Copper alloy terminal with thin copper alloy strip attached. The terminal has a rectangular cross-section with four V-shaped tapering grooves, defining a cross. The terminal gently narrows before a wide square collar. The single piece of copper alloy sheet is set within the collar. The sheet is thin (0.5-0.8mm) and is plain, it is wider than the terminal and has a bend near its end, which may be an original feature.

Cast copper-alloy fitting, possibly a strap-connector. Incomplete. Short, rectangular-sectioned shaft, expanding out to horizontal moulding followed by a wide, leaf-shaped element, then a further horizontal moulding. One end of the shank terminates in a hook at the reverse, set at right-angles with the shaft. The other end of the shaft is broken. Broadly similar examples are known from Verulamium (Frere 1984, 35-6 nos. 87-8 fig. 12).

The terminal appears to protrude from a possible vessel or platform. This is suggested by the abraded platform from which the terminal protrudes. The platform is a sub-rectangular shape, with all edges being broken, these are not recent breaks. The terminal is a zoomorphic shape, possible representing a bird or a dolphin. The item is a sub-rectangular shape in plan, however one terminal is folded over forming a 'U' shape. This fold has a crack and the distortion suggests the fold is not intentional. The handle is a 'U' shape with one terminal curved outwards and down forming a 'n' shape. The 'U' section is circular in section and varies slightly in diameter, one side edge is slightly wider than the centre. The 'n' shaped terminal tapers towards the apex of the curve and then the section becomes an flattened oval shape until the end. This end maybe incomplete. The other terminal of the 'U' shape tapers slightly and has a broken terminal, this break is old. The surface of the item a few spots of a light green patina, however the majority of the surface is a red/brown colour.

Cylindrical copper alloy handle with an internal iron core; pierced suspension lug at one end with a wire loop still in place; handle decorated with a series of concentric mouldings consisting of 3 rounded knops separated by raised billeted collars, paired at the upper end; below the lowermost of the mouldings the metal narrows to a tapering shank; of square section at the top and sub-circular section below; from the latter protrudes an iron core which has stained the surrounding copper-alloy with corrosion; presumably this represents the remains of a shank or shaft for a tool or implement.

The item has two components the lower and the upper portion. The lower portion is shaped as if a square has been folded along its diagonal at 45°. In the fold crevice there is corroded iron, which may have been a mounting point. On the outer surface of this component, along its edge are small notches at irregular intervals which appear to be decoration. The second component is placed along the apex of the fold.
