The incomplete coin is bent into a U shaped, and in broken into two pieces. The remaining portion of the artefact is 13.6mm in diameter and 0.5mm thick. It weighs 1.3g.

Lead alloy possible coin forgery. A flat pellet of solidified and inflexible lead melt, flat on one side but with a concave oval impression suggesting a grid-like pattern; patinated. This might be a fragment of debris from the casting of lead which has come into contact with textile while still fluid, which could only be dated to between the Roman and Post-Medieval periods.
