A late Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper-alloy flat hexagonal coin weight, known as a ‘hexagonal flans type’. The faces of the weight are worn and unclear. The sides are flat and plain. It is likely that this is Anglo-gallic or French, and dates from the 15th to 16th centuries. The weight is in a poor condition, with pitted, dark brownish-green surfaces. It measures 20.3mm diameter, 8.2mm thick and weighs 17.61 grams.

The obverse depicts a shield within which is a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The letters around the shield are not discernable. The reverse depicts the hand of Antwerp, upright. The rest of the face is indiscernible. The coin weight measures 10mm long, 10mm wide and 1mm thick. It weighs 1.92 grams.

A complete, very worn, copper-alloy Post-Medieval coin weight proably dating 1580-1589. The coin weight, for an Angel, is rectangular in shape and was issued in Antwerp by an unknown maker. On one side it depicts St Michael slaying the dragon on one side while the other side shows the hand of Antwerp and the maker's mark 'C I'. Possibly made by Cornelis Janssen.

On the reverse is the shield of British arms within a circular beaded border. The coin weight measures 19.2mm by 20.1mm and 4.8mm thick, and weighs 12.02 grams.

A cast copper-alloy coin weight dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1773-1850). The weight is square in plan and rectangular in cross section. The obverse of the weight has a crown in the centre with the letters 'D G' above and the numbers '5 8' below. The arrangement is repeated on the reverse, without the crown. The sides of the coin weight are bowed slightly. The surfaces have a mid to dark-greenish brown patination. The coin weight measures 16.65mm in length and width, 3.89mm thick and weighs 8.1 grams. A complete cast copper-alloy bullion weight of Post-Medieval date. The weight is flat and circular with the text D//XII stamped onto both sides. The bullion weight measures 18mm in diameter, 3mm thick and weighs 5.8 grams. From the 17th to early 19th century silver coins were often heavily worn or clipped and were therefore traded by weight rather than face value. This weight would have been used for weighing 1 shillings' worth of silver which was set from 1601 as 6.02g. This convention continued until the introduction of the gold standard in 1816.
