A cast copper-alloy square coin weight of a Unite (22s). On one face is a crowned half-length bust of James I facing right with sceptre over right shoulder and orb in left hand. Around the edge of the bust is the legend ‘IR: BRIT’. On the other face is a Crown with XXII below it. Near the crown, in the left corner is a crowned I for James I stamped. The length of the weight is 18.0mm, the width is 17.3mm, the current weight is 9.68g though the original weight would have been 10.03g.
