Post Medieval copper alloy half guinea coin weight, c.AD 1772-1816. This is a coin weight that has both faces stamped with the standard weight for half guinea coins, minted from January 1, 1772 until the Great Recoinage of 1816. The obverse has an additional stamp of an ewer or coffee pot, which is the certification mark of the Founder's Company. Both faces are marked with "D . G" (standing for pence and grain) above "2 . 16", with a central crown.

A complete Post Medieval copper alloy coin weight, c.AD 1500-1700. The find is square in plan, with flat faces. The obverse has crowned shield at its centre, the reverse is too worn to discern details, but does not appear to have any designs. This weight is worn and corroded, with a greenish-brown patina on all faces. This may be a Bristol farthing token, similar to GLO-4D9D61.

A complete cast copper-alloy coin weight of Post Medieval date (c.AD 1760-1780). This coin weight is circular in plan and bi-faced being stamped on both sides with "s // 36". The 's' is cursive and looks like the modern letter 'f'. This weight was used to measure the Portuguese 4 escudos, known in England as the Johannes or Joe. In the late 18th century it became common practise for British makers to produce coin weights to measure these common denominations of Portuguese coins.

Copper alloy Post Medieval coin weight. This object is sub-rectangular in shape with circular stamps on both faces. The obverse face has rounded edges that slope down to the base, with the remains of a stamped design. Unfortunately the damage to this face has obscured the details of this design and it cannot be made out. The reverse face has a design of a shield that was then impressed with a round stamp that held the design of a figure eight.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy coin weight for thirty six shillings (c. 1740-c. 1780). It was used to weigh against the 4 escudos, a Portuguese coin otherwise known as the Johannes or "Joe" in England. The value was equal to that of thirty six shillings, with a weight of 14.32g. (Withers and Withers 2011: 66). However, this coin weight weighs 12.97g. The weight is marked on both faces: "S / 36". Diameter: 23.3mm. Weight: 12.97g.
