One half of a lead teardrop shaped bale seal. The front depicts a rampant lion and crown, a simplification of the Dutch coats of arm. The other side has a small depression and the number '524' raised, which is probably a control number. The seal is fairly worn, and the patina is pale grey/cream.

Post medieval lead alloy two part cloth seal, 30mm long and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 9.20grams. The object conisists of two circular plates, 19mm in diameter, which are joined by a long thin strip of lead. One side is inscribed with a large letter A? possibly flanked by two Os.

Circular lead cloth seal. One side is decorated with a shield design dating from AD 1648 (Heraldry: sources and symbols and meanings. Brooke-Little 1997). The shield is divided into four zones by a central cross. Within the lower two zones are a series of pellets. The other side bears large initials: CR above 9K (a weight measurement?).

Two-part lead-alloy cloth seal comprising two opposing circular plates with folded connecting strip. No sign of a rivet. Probably a weaver's/clothier's seal. One side contains the inscription: L (meaning length) XIII Other side has inscription: W (width) XX[X]X Probably 17th C. in date. Measures 27.8mm long, by 21mm wide (diameter of circles), by 3.5mm thick (total). Each plate measures 1.4mm thick. Connecting strip is 7.4mm wide. Weight = 11.66g.

Lead cloth seal of probable late 17th to early 18th C. AD date. Only one of the plates remains, the other having been broken off. This plate is sub-circular in shape and measures 13mm in diameter by 1.9mm thick. Half of the folded lead strip at the top survives and is 3.2mm high, by 4.1mm wide. The upper surface of the plate has the image of a crown in the centre and symbols either side (possibly I.P.?). The reverse is plain and there is a fragment of the rear plate remaining. Weight = 1.88g.

Lead alloy cloth seal. This seal has a diameter of 14.42mm, is 1.58mm thick and weighs 1.49g. It is circular in plan, with a small knop to one side which fromed part of the attachment. On one side of the seal is an Irish style harp with an I above. The reverse is very worn and the design cannot be discerned. It is probably 17th century in date.

Post Medieval Dutch lead alloy cloth seal, 23mm long, 18mm wide and 4mm thick. The seal is in good condition with a cream patina and a weight of 9.64 grams. It is sub circular in form and on one side it has a raised border which contains R&A 361 (a control number). The other side has a beaded border with contains a Royal crowned crest showing a rampart lion holding a sword or staff.

Post Medieval lead alnage seal probably of Queen Anne (AD1702-1714). The seal consist of two discs, joined by strip and folded around to meet. One side bears the profile bust of a woman, facing left, while simplified this resembles the bust seen on coins of Anne. The other side bears a rose. This seal is similar to SOM-30BA48 the discussion of which is valid here. Length 16.2mm, Diameter 14.1mm, Thickness 2.0mm, Mass 2.74g

A almost complete post-medieval cast lead cloth seal, probably dating to 17th century. The cloth seal is circular shape and is composed by two discs connected by a rectangular strip. The seal shows on both sides a mark. One disc reports the number 20, the other one depicts a small sword or a dagger with stwo stars on both side of the blade, inside a shield. Between the central decoration and the external edge is a damaged inscription but only the letters L E T can be seen. The seal measures 24.18mm in diameter and weights 11.51g.
